Exotics

We have many customers who have brought to us the hides of exotic animals that they acquired from hunting or elsewhere, wanting us to use them for custom orders. Below are some examples of items we made using our customers' exotic hides. If you want an item made from an exotic hide but have no hide to give us, we will do our best to try to locate a hide for you. We do not keep exotic hides on hand.

This bed spread is made from the hides of beavers. It is a combination of sheared beaver, dyed and natural furs. As you can see, it is a full size bed spread on a standard double bed. Perfect for those cold, frosty nights!

These pillows are perfect accents for safari-themed decor. The one on the left measures 17" x 13" and is made from a zebra hide. The tail was included for an authentic touch. The pillow on the right measures 17" x 17" and is made from the hide of a spring buck. Pillows will vary in size depending on the size of the hide you provide, and can be made with or without tails. Larger hides can be used to make chair or sofa cushions.

This large teddy bear stands about 22" tall. He is made from the hide of an axis, which is an African deer, and is accented with beaver.
